Idiots!

Shea Moisture products for naturally curly hair have long been favored by black women — but when the company expanded its reach to whites with a video advertisement Monday, that was more than some of the brand’s core consumers could stand. The video began with a black woman noting the difficulties of dealing with her hair.

But then it cut to white women harping on the same dilemma. Which was apparently a no-no.

Black women complained and said they felt insulted by the ad, the Washington Post reported, noting that one writer called it a “blatant erasure of African American women who made the brand what it is.”

Desperation met stupidity on the corner of bad luck and despair, and the democratic party was born.

Naturally curly black hair isn't the same as naturally curly white
hair, black hair is flat like a ribbon and the white stuff is oval.
Shea should've separated the product, same product, but one
for blacks and one for whites. Whites don't care if they use it
on horses as long as it works for them. Blacks whine about
that sort of thing like a white plot against their territory.

Truth be known whites have been using it for years and Asians
wish they needed it. Shea's in business for the money.

I feel for them.  Both white and black. I just wish I had some hair to contend with.

A "like" on your comment there, JT.  But in actuality, once talking my leave of absence, I do not miss lace up boots nor shaving.   And Whal clippers takes care of the rest. Less [to do] is more on the scale of retirement satisfaction. Be grateful for what you haven't got.

Cue up the song "Hair" from the musical by the same name.

There's cultural and there is just plain bull hockey. All these complaints are just bull hockey. I doubt you'd find one black person willing to give up one thing they do that can actually be claimed by others as belonging to their culture.

What's cultural about their 10 inch fake nails, all their fake hair, bangs that hang past their eyes, all those cheap bad wigs they wear, the big old fake eyebrows they all have now, straight hair, blonde hair, glasses without lenses, and so on and so forth. ALL races do it. I saw an asian girl Saturday with those big old fake eyebrows. Can she claim them as her culture?
