Where are you going to eat first?

That is a hard one for me to promise, most likely the first one I happen upon when the time comes.

Actually, I am getting used to eating at home and not over stuffing myself.

It also may be that I am going to have to ration my finances better because of low money issues.

I, like many others, eat out (or did) about 99% of the time.  This close down has reduced my reliance on restaurants down to about 1% of the time and that would be a trip through Popeyes drive-through.  I envision that the first place I'll go will be Texas Roadhouse just like JH1961.

Not being one to take food home (that is I much prefer to eat it in the restaurant) I've also become reacquainted with cooking and have been totally satisfied with the results but I doubt I'll go back to my 99% rate of eating out at least not for a while.  I'm sure many others that reduce their dining out either due to cost or concern for the virus, some restaurants will continue to suffer and some may not make it.

Cracker Barrel for mornings, Sonic lunch and Corky's, Texas Roadhouse,
Popeye's/KFC or Firehouse subs for dinner. I will lunch at Sam's or
Costco's at times, still great prices.

Wish we had a choice for Firehouse in the Shoals but have no idea when that will happen.  Until then closest here, to Firehouse's steamed subs is Mama Goldberg's.  Haven't tried Costco as, like Firehouse we don't have one in the Shoals, but Sam's is good and very affordable but I didn't like it when they substituted their brand hot dogs for the 1/4 lb Nathan brand they used to use.

I'd of payed a bit more for the Nathan's.  As for Sonic they haven't seen any drop in business as you still eat at the store.

I'm sure Sabrett products have cleaned this up, a few years back they
had millions of pounds recalled for pieces of bone and cartilage.
Doesn't mean they aren't very good dogs.

Hebrew National is a Jew dog I can trust to be clean and prepared right.

I'm not into this any longer but years ago I'd pickup a cheap dog like
Starling for one and grill them because you could actually burn the
outside of them. The better quality stuff won't burn like that.
Four or five (no buns) burnt puppies with mustard and potato salad
is all I needed. Maybe a beer.
