Where do you get your news?

Associated Press Raw News site. It gives you every AP story that might show up in any newspaper in America.

The best suggestion is to watch a variety of sources and interpolate somewhere in the middle and decide for yourself what is actually true. I watch Fox, Cnn, the major networks, and of course the Times Daily forums. If any network ignores stories that another network is showing be wary of that network. Examples are the black panther case and radical friends of the Obama administration. There is no network that falls in the middle, inclucing AP.

But if left leaning newspapers print some AP stories, and right leaning newspapers print other AP stories, aren't I getting a mix of left and right? I believethe AP puts the stories out there and newspapers choose which ones they want to carry. And it is the source most TV and radio news first gets their national and international stories from.

You may be right but if you're putting all your eggs in one basket are you sure you're getting the truth? I think it's still good to hear different viewpoints from both sides on the same issues. I'm a conservative myself but I don't believe everything Fox says all the time. Sometimes you have to search for the truth.

If I have any questions about the veracity of what I read, I go to snopes or factcheck.

I don't watch television at all. Haven't owned one in decades. I do listen to the radio. And of course I read local newspapers.

I get my news from the same place conservatives get theirs. Matt Drudge.

BBC is the best for international stuff if you can get it. However, I alternate between CNN and Fox. Also, know ahead of time that each side leans a certain way, and think your way past it.
