Where does God want me?

As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike Because of an auto accident.

One of them Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's Car wouldn't start.

One couldn't Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today..

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic ,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringingtelephone ...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where God wants me to be
At this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong ,
The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It May be just that
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

Hi Shouting,

God has a plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11) -- even before we are believers (Romans 5:8).

In 1960, I worked for Burroughs Corporation in Norfolk, Virginia. My boss flew to New York on business; but, on the way home he got stuck in New York traffic and missed his flight. That plane crashed with all on board lost. He came home safely on a later flight -- glad to be alive, but pale faced and shaken.

In 1970, I flew to New Jersey to put together a proposal for a multi-million dollar sale. I worked literally around the clock for about three days. When I did go to sleep; I overslept and missed my flight back to California. That flight was highjacked to Cuba.

In the mid-1980s God took this guy, Bill Gray, who could not put together two coherent sentences -- and gave me the gift of writing. This was several years before I became a Christian believer. Yet, when I did become a believer -- I was able to use that gift of writing to share His Word.

Yes, God is awesome! And, even though our non-believing Friends do not believe it -- He is also very smart. You might even say that He is omniscient -- and omnipotent -- and omnipresent.

Wow! He is awesome!

Thank you for sharing with us.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

And the trick is to be silent so you can hear Him telling you where it is He wants you to be. Shut off the noise of the world so you can hear His voice. And then, when you find out where He wants you, even if it's not where YOU think you want to be, just accept it with a thankful heart, knowing that HE knows what's good for you, and YOU only THINK you know.

And yet, God didn't see fit to help out over 3000 people who showed up to work on time.
Yeah, I don't think God had a hand in 9-11.
To believe so, would be to place a higher value on the lives that were spared, than of those who perished. ESPECIALLY those who were in the Rescue Efforts.

Evil is just evil. God did not keep these few from missing work that day. Sometimes people just get lucky I think.
