Where to advertise stuff with results...

Looking for free classifieds somewhere that has a goodly readership.

I don't have a lotta money to post a two-week ad or so in the TD.

Craigslist is a joke.

The party line is a HUGE snooze.

The "Shoals Sale Barn" page on FB is kinda hit 'n miss because so many people are using it for dumb stuff like "JASON ISBELL GOTZ HIS VAN AND TRAILER AND STUFFZ STOLEN IN TEXAS!!!11-IT'S AWHITE VAN WIF A BLACK TRAILER WIF A EAGEL ON THE SIDE AND AN OLD GIBSON GUITAR AND...AND...."

(Relax, awready...For one.....It's in TEXAS, you MORON....Wottahell am I s'posed to do about it here in Florence, Alabama, eh?)

And the ad scrolls down the page outta sight what with all the "OH NOES!!!1" and stuff..

Does anybody know of any free online classified site that people actually LOOK at that covers Alabama/Tennessee?

I'z gotz a few things to sell/trade.

I saw that & wondered the same thing. I've had good luck with the Barn & Craigslist but don't know of any others, except the others on Facebook that's similar to Shoals Sale Barn.

I agree RP Craigslist IS a joke. I've had a few good experiences but for the most part people tend to stretch the truth in the ads about the stuff they have for sale on there here locally.

I have several ads on Craigslist. I always post pictures of what I have & give a detailed description. What I don't like about it & Shoals Sale Barn is those people that say they are coming to look at something but never show up.

my gripe with craigslistis most everybody who replies to you are just trying to get your email address to sell. i always use an email that i don't care if it gets spam. never my main email address.
