That would be a nice gift for an anniversary or birthday present for your loved one. I have been to Bridge street, walked there a week after the opened up part of it opened. It was cold as heck. Brrrr, Me and my daughter in law JUST had to have a Dippin Dots Banana Split. Our tongues stuck to the ice cream spoon, it was so cold. But I saw the gondola boats, and check out the Merry Go Round, and all the Big Concrete type Animals. It's an awesome place, I havent been to the Movie yet, my son has been there and took my daughter there for her birthday, I'm hoping I will get treated there for my Birthday, He said you get to sit in the VIP section, with Leather seats, and be served wine or drinks, if you so choose to. It sounds to be really nice, expensive, but nice. I am gonna wait and go back when the weather is warmer, but it does have some cool shops. As for your picnic basket, if you can't find anything around here, just google it, or go online and search for it, you might be able to get a good deal on it online. I get a few deals online. Pretty kewl.
Check with Yogi Bear...he's an expert. Big Grin

<yeah, yeah, you knew it was only a matter of time>

I got mine at a junk store on the side of the road in Asheville, NC. So next time you are in the neighborhood, check that out. JK! I literally scoffed when my step-mom-in-law insisted on stopping there. It was a gold mine, I'm telling ya. I love my pic-a-nic basket.

Good luck shopping! I'd say Hobby Lobby is a good choice, but I'd call first to ask. There's a lot of ground to cover in that store searching for no reason.

Monster, you gotta come out and see me more! Smiler I think it opened over the summer.

Directions from The Shoals: Take US 72 / 20 through Tuscumbia and out to Leighton. Carry on through Courtland (watch your speed). Pass on through Hillsboro and Trinity into Decatur. Turn LEFT to stay on 72/20 and go over the Steamboat Willie bridge (that is really it's name). Stay RIGHT to get on 565. Take 565 to the COUNTY LINE ROAD exit. Stay straight at the traffic light. Old Time Pottery will be on your left just past the airport.

Alternately, you can take 72 to County Line Road (if you get to Jimmy's, you've gone too far - turn around and go back to the light!) Turn RIGHT on County Line. Turn LEFT on Hwy 20 / Madison Blvd. Old Time Pottery will be on your left just past the airport.

PS to Fish - I used my basket when I was Dorothy for Halloween. You are welcome to have it / borrow it if you get in a bind. PM me if you want it, and I can bring it to Florence this weekend.
