I went six years at lexington. Because the vice principal and another teacher did not want me in their graduation class, I was forced to go to summer school for the first time in my life. So, my mother put in the paper I graduated at Brooks! I said for a long time that no kid of mine would go to lexington, but, I forgave the school since both the v.p. and teacher are no longer there. My daughter went there twelve years and graduated and now my son is there and will hopefully graduate in a couple of years. I have a lot more confidence in lexington school now than when I went.

T.M. Rogers if anyone is old enough to remember it. I don't know when the T.M. was dropped.

My son went there in the 1st grade, until we moved to TN.... and if I remember correctly it was T.M. Rogers then... he will soon be 33 years old... They called it Rogers, even then... so is the T.M. still there?

I'm not sure when the T M was dropped. It was named that for Thomas Rogers of the old Rogers dept. store who gave the land to the county for the school to be built.

I just got a new wrinkle on my brain! lol... I didn't know that. Guess we could call the school and find out.
