It is clear to me the early White House strategy was to blame BP and not get involved except for figuring out how they could "use it" for their own political means. These people are too busy fixing elections to govern for the people.
It took the media and people like James Carville to get Obama to pay attention. I don't expect Obama or the Federal government to cap the well but I do expect hundreds of skimmers, fire boons, and tens of thousands of soldiers doing what it can in keeping oil off the shore.
It is as if these people didn't think out the scenarios. Eight days into the disaster we were LOOKING for fire boons that the Federal government was required to have on hand? When the fire broke out shouldn't have we known that hey this thing could sink and we could have a major disaster?
And it looks like we were really counting on this top kill working because what are we really doing on a federal level? Obama came for a photo Op but would he had he not been under intense pressure? The media has found him to be a empty suit and they are turning on him.
