I'm still willing to donate two weeks vacation to help build the fence.
I'll go with you as long as we can make it an electric fence with 480 volts.
Why not have basic training for our troops on the border...it doesnt take long to build a hooch and it sure would be cheaper than building a fence. take a company, battalion, whatever it takes...spread them out along the border...guess that isnt "politically correct"

The double fence arrangement Israel built between itself and Gaza is one of the best -- few penetrations.

sorry, i have a hard time believing that, maybe now with 20% unemployment, but not when the economy is in good shape.
I'm all for keeping illegals out but why would a US citizen apply for a job when he can sit at home and bring home a paycheck? I see help wanted or taking applications all over Florence. There are jobs just not the ones people want.
I am all in tears over Obama's 'concern' regarding Arizona's recent decision re: illegal aliens. I am even MORE torn up over Mexico's statement that this decision could 'endanger' relations.

I'll help Sassy with that fence, but I also believe that stationing troops on the border is a great idea as well. Unlike Bush's orders not to fire, I think they should have orders to fire at will.
On the other hand, I think companies that hire illegals should be held accountable at the CEO level. (they should serve jail time). If I can go to Europe, or Asia and use my credit card , don't tell me there is no way to verify someone being in this country legally. Drying up the job market for illegals may be the best way to stop it.
As to who would do the crap jobs, there is a legal way for them to obtain entry to do those jobs.
Mexicans?
Dry up the job market and punish employers who hire repeatedly. Perhaps, working on a gang clearing brush for the new wall.

The PC crowd is trying to make insane and crazy PC terms so as not to insult the mentally deficient. I suspect the real group it will insult is congress!
