Hi LMM,
We leave that task to his followers -- atheists, agnostics, and other non-believers.
As a Christian we know that the Bible tells us that God's plan of salvation is only for humans and not for angels. Satan is a fallen angel.
We cannot pray for the dead nor for angels; only for those who are alive and still have an opportunity to accept, by grace through faith, the free gift of salvation offered by God.
You see, Jesus has already picked up the tab; He has paid the bill in full -- and all we humans have to do is to accept His free gift.
Can you imagine the mentality of humans who will not accept that fantastic free gift? Does the phrase "one quart short of a gallon" in the brain department seem to fit?

So who since the death of Jesus is sin free. We are not looking for a Kingdom ruled by a group of people. We are looking for a Kingdom ruled by all people; good and bad, big and small, black and white, and all colors in between. How many people have lost their lives in the last 2,000 yrs. in the name of Jesus. So did Jesus come to save lives or to take lives? Most of the wars that have been fought on this planet have been fought in the name of Jesus.
So when I read of John the Revelator. He said that Jesus would come back riding on a white horse with his mantle dipped in blood. Can you imagine a more horrible story than seeing this man with blood dripping down from the horse, and following him is all of his army, the Jesus people. He comes to this Earth to make war, not peace. And this man Jesus, whom everybody say they love, he comes here to kill the mighty man, the poor man; he is going to kill them all! Blood is going to reach the horse's bit and run for 200 miles. Do you really want to go to Heaven and join that army?
These are the days that John spoke of. You will know who Jesus is, who God is and who you are.

Dj, the blood on his mantle is talking about his own blood that he sacrificed for us. He is returning with the saints and those who had been raptured to make war with the Anti-Christ who deceived the people into believing a lie (that the Anti-Christ has set himself up in the temple as God)..who will probably be Satan incarnate.
So does that mean that Jesus is dead? What exactly does this mean: I Peter 1:13: "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." and in verse 20, we learn: "Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last time for you....". Are these the last time, the last days? What last days? The last days of the Church dispensation! We find Paul saying again to the Hebrews that Christ appeared first at the beginning of the world, and that he will appear again at the end of the Church dispensation. That is the time when Christ will appear again. Christ appeared once in the Garden of Eden - as the fruit on a tree. Christ was the lifegiving fruit and when Eve ate of the death fruit, they were run out of the Garden of Eden and eternal life was sealed, not to be revealed and not to be understood until the last days. So have we all been eating the fruit of death waiting when for Christ to appear again in the last days?

So if Jesus died for our sins, who do you know are sin free. If he was flesh and blood like us and had risen, then we as flesh and blood can do the same thing. Right?
The two trees in the Garden represents Eternal Life and Death. So are we not all dying trying to get to Heaven? If we are the "heirs to God" according to Romans, then why do we still die, and if Jesus died for our sins then we should be all sin free. So why have we allowed ourselves to be programmed to die by the Church.
In St.John 14:20, it reads: "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you". So what John is talking about is the day you become conscious! Actually, we don't rely on an outside God but the God from within us. Well some of us do!
We are tasting the world to come, but we are tasting the good word of God. And the good word of God is that we are born free. There is no God outside of Man himself, so your God and my God are going to work together....
The Godhead is God, Christ and you, the real you. In this Godhead are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. All that is known lies within you. This power is yours, this Earth is yours and mine.
We are all sinners. That fate was sealed in the Garden of Eden. Jesus came to earth, and died so that all who believe and have faith in Him, will be forgiven of our sins.
The cool thing is that, all we have to do is ask him to live within us, and believe that he does !
And unfortunately, yes, we will continue to sin. But if we are a Child of God, our sins are forgiven. NOW that doesn't give us permission to sin. I believe every sin we commit, hurts our Father, and we will be held accountable. When a child of God sins, the Holy Spirit who was sent to walk with us, will remind ***** our hearts. But Praise God, he sent his son to pay the price, and wash our sins away. When we die, or are raptured, Children of God will live with him for eternity. I'm kinda excited about seeing that day come !
Now with all that said, Yes, I know, without a shadow of doubt, that there is a God seperate from myself. Thank goodness !!! Although I, as do most people, catch myself trying to "fix" things without regards to my Father. In those times, the things I'm trying to "fix", will surely be screwed up ! Let go, and let God..... That's such a peaceful thought ! When I do let God lead me......things go much better. May not be when I WANT it done........but it's when God wants it to be, and that is ALWAYS on time.

You have been watching Oprah far too long. God is in a believer in the form of the Holy Spirit indwelling that believer upon his/her accepting Jesus Christ's free gift of salvation. He is there to guide the believer, to teach the believer, to convict the believer -- not to make the believer a God. God is still God. You are not and never will be -- except in the minds of Oprah and Shirley Maclaine.
You are not God; nature is not God, only God is God -- and all other things, including you and me -- and even Oprah -- are created beings.
We can have eternal salvation in God; not in ourselves. In ourselves, all we have is misery and unrighteousness. We cannot save ourselves even if want to try. We can only be saved by having the righeousness of Jesus Christ imputed to us -- and we do that, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We do that by repenting and turning to Jesus Christ as our only Lord and Savior.
Oprah and her gods will only get you into deep trouble. Jesus Christ will be the Way, the Truth, and the Life -- if you will let Him.

I will have to agree with GoFish on this one. Just because someone is an atheist, agnostic, or other non-believer does not mean they follow or worship Satan.
