I am not saying names or who's court this was in. But I know both of the individuals involved in this matter and know the facts as well.

Close friend was approached by her husband that he wanted a divorce. She let him have it and moved out since she no longer felt safe in their home. This individual is a law enforcement officer and has been arrested for public intoxication. He drew up his own contract for divorce and sent it to her in which he admitted being a drunk and promised not to drink while their child would be visiting him. This woman did nothing wrong but to try to stay there until the child was old enough so that a divorce would not be so hard on he/she.

She took all this information including proof of his affairs to what was told to be the best lawyer. The husband came to where she lived on numerous times using his badge trying to take the child.

Went to court, judge said all that stuff didn't matter that he would have visitations 3 times a week without supervision. And he would get an extra day since he was unable to see her for a couple months. Lawyer rolled over and played dead after taking 3k for her NON services.

So this proves to me that a court can be swayed or had with the influence of certain people. Made me sick in the court room. Because he knew before hand that he was winning the case. You could tell by his attitude.

I agree with you 100%. A friend of mine took his ex back to court because she had moved in with a sex offender, with their kid's, she amitted to the judge that she had done that, his lawyer rolled over and played dead to, now he has no idea where his kid's are, and if they are ok.He has been told by another lawyer that there is nothing he can do, and according to his court papers she is in contempt of court right now.It just makes me sick, how the courts will stand by the low lifes, and the ones who are doing the right things they will do nothing for.IT IS LOW DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh he still is a cop. Thinks the law is his to do with as he pleases. Just pisses you off when you do things right and somebody who is a low life gets away with everything.

But what comes around, goes around and a lot of people in that court room saw his true side. And it was evil.

What line of work are you in, mnepit-jr?

I suppose I can assume no one here so far likes cops. Although I can see some issues with the statement originally made, cops aren't the only ones that can be corrupt. We have good and bad in all walks of life.

I dont think it is that no one likes cops,,,, that is an unfair evaluation.... I think that no one likes the preferential treatment that cops get that other ppl out in there cant get.... I dont think that being a cop should give them extra privilages at all but tend to lean in the other direction that they should have the inner desire to hold themselves above reproach,,,, especially in a court of law.... to do it any differently means they are playing a political game and that is not what we are paying cops to do...... and believe me,,, I have told this same thing to a few cops that I know personally and they agreed with me..... so far none that I know of has ever been faced with situations as described on this thread..... but what the topic is about is a travesty of justice by anyones standards...... which we have all allowed to happen over the years instead of standing up and telling city hall that we pay them...... they dont pay us.....

Is this guy she's living with a registered sex offender? That judge was wayyyy off base if he didn't take those kids away from her right then & there. To have children in the home with a sex offender is against the law!! That father should be screaming from the roof tops to find his children, find another lawyer, & go before another judge.
Pigs can get by with almost anything. My father was a pig in a city in Louisiana, he would come in most nights and beat my mother up. One day she got me and my sister and left and never returned. So yes, they can get by with more than the common citizen. I have not seen him since we left years ago, and never hope to ever see him again...

Yes he is a registered sex offender.Their father has and is still doing everything he knows to do,every lawyer he talks to says there is nothing he can do.His oldest son called him about a week after they went to court and wanted him to come get them,he went to get them and she had beat the crap out of him for calling, her family called the law. They told him she had papers that she had custody, there was nothing they could and he had to leave or be arrested. After that they took off and nobody seems to know where they are.It seems as though you have to know the right people to pay off to get any justice at all.
What kind of work I am in has no reference to this. I am also not bashing cops. I have friends that are cops, investigators, FBI and so forth. These are great people, do a fantastic job to uphold the law and what is right. I am just saying that he used his badge to sway things towards his way when there was evidence showing wrong doing. But as stated above, there has always got to be a bad cookie in the jar.

What comes around goes around. I believe in karma.
