I'm not stumped, and I'm also not making excuses as to why Bama won those 9 in a row now am I??? Hell, I'm not even stating facts that could make those losses look more understandable, though I probably could... Bammie won 9 in a row(only 3 of which while I was actually alive), and Auburn has won 6 in a row up to last year.... that's all the facts I need... the series is 38-33-1 up to this point which means bammie holds a slim lead presently... that's all the facts I need. My point is, bammies need to knock off the excuses and just accept that this ain't the 60's and 70's and the era of unlimited scholly's anymore... Bama hasn't been a dynasy in 30 years, are not building one now, nor will they ever build another one... This is the SEC with modern day parody... Ya'll need to face the fact that you are fans of just another SEC team.

As for this game... Auburn still has talent, and most of it is back healthy for the first time since Vandy... The offense is getting some confidence... I'll just say this, Auburn is a team with fantastic athletes with NOTHING to lose playing a young Bammie team with EVERYTHING to lose...... watch out.... Wink

Two things did help the aubbies win,.... probation, which i would think any simple minded person would agree, hurts recruiting. Which spills out on the field. The second thing is coaching changes. Who wants to play for a school with such an unstable program? Again, this trickles onto the playing field. Im not making excuses. These are two things that happened. Cant ignore that.

And if those were the cases for Auburn back in the day then I'm sure you'd accept that excuse from Auburn fans and say that Bama didn't really earn those wins too right??? LMAO!!!

I didnt say Auburn didnt earn those wins. Of course they did. What i'm saying is for reasons listed above, it sure didnt help Bamas chances and it helped Auburn. If you were a recruit undecided about where to go play, who would you pick? A team on probation, a team that cant seem to keep a coach for whatever reason or would you pick a school that has a more stable program? Good luck today though. The point spread is 14.5, it'll be closer than that whoever wins i think.
TIDE 36 tigers 0

I do applaud Tubby for his post game comments. It was his fault auburn was so pitiful this year. He didn't have the testicles to stick with the offense the team practiced all summer for. Heck you can't change half way through the season and expect the team to do good. He is the one that needs to be fired not some assistant coaches.

BOY WAS I WRONG.ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL!

Well, you were wrong this particular time, but in general, you're dead on and history is full of upsets in these types of rivalries to prove it.

And congrats to Bama.
