You almost had a valid thread until you made it a blanket statement. I actually agree along the same lines as you WH. It is a common practice to be videotaped in certain areas of our town. But I never cared because my video was running too. If the amateur cameraman caught elements of the crime I would actually subpoena his recording for my case. I don't believe Alabama law would sustain that type of charge anyway. Now repeat after me ......... not all police are bad.

You need a mental health evaluation. I never tried to dispute the thread. I actually sort of sided with you. Another example of your distrust in law enforcement. Let me explain my quarrel with wright on this particular thread. Look at his first reply. He and sassy kims both keep insisting that I dislike all cops. Wright slipped that in in his reply. Is that what you call making a logical conclusion?

Whether you hate me or not doesn't affect me one iota.

If your idea of diplomacy is allowing someone to say something that is just not true, then I have no respect for you.

Sir, you asked for my opinion as soon as you brought my post to "wright" into question, prior to that, i don't think i did anything to offend or deny your opinion. remember, you attacked me, i did not say anything in my post to the effect that your post were off the mark, simply that i appreciate wright for at least attempting to see both sides of the story on most threads, i've seen him post that he despises those officers that bring a bad name to leo's as a whole, some on here would never admit that, they only see "blue" a brother at arms.

as to the point of discussion, i don't think anyone should be allowed to censor video, whether leo's or the public, and certainly should a police officer never ask a person to turn off the camera, the only exception may be where some idiot is trying to film a gruesome scene where someone has been brutally murdered, as this is just sick and if leaked could be devastating to the family of the victim.

btw: my throne is made of porcelain and as a matter of fact i have made comments while sitting there handling my business as i have internet access on my blackberry devise, sure beats flippin through a magazine for the 200th time.

Please feel free to state your opinion. I am referring to your "suggestion" of diplomacy.

well, i'm the first to admit, i haven't read all the post on here, what i do know is that "wright " has been fair with post that i've made in the past that are considered "cop-bashing" your experience may be very different. which is why i attempted to suggest diplomacy, however, my suggestion was not welcomed and apparently made too late to do any good any way. peace.
