I went to town today and seen the boycott signs from the Jennifer house all the way into Florence for O'Charley's does anyone know whats going on.

I was sick for 3 days last time I ate there. No need for signs for me to boycott them.
i always get bad service in ever o'charley's i've ever ate at which has been florence, tupelo, and decatur so that's enough to keep me out of them
About a year or two ago, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken sandwich from O'Charley's. Luckily, I always cut mine in half. Well, when I did, it was completely raw on the inside. I almost wretched. The service has always been bad. We decided to give it another chance a few weeks ago, and it was a little better. Service could still use a lot of work. Needless to say, I'll never order that Buffalo chicken sandwich there again.
i agree with the service and the food is not the great either. we have eat there twice since they have been open. the first time wasn't long after they opened so you should expect some things to be wrong. we also decided to give it another shot on day and we just wanted a small meal since it was between meals. the waiter told me the "spring rolls" were great and there were plenty of them for two people. i was ordering those for my self so i was expecting to get plenty, all i can say is i'm glad my wife ordered her own foood or we would have been in bad shape. my two year old eats more that that so i was very dissapointed. the waiter let my tea glass go empty twice(which we all know in the south is grounds for jail time)when he told me he would get me more he brought back unsweet(did you know they have that crap?) so i reutrned it and he told me they would have to make some "real quick" about 10 minutes later i got my glass of sugar and would ou believe he had the nerve to put tea in the glass also? if i had drank that my teeth would have fallen out befor i got home. oh well some times you just learn the places not to go.
Some friends and I went to Ocharleys a couple weeks ago, we ordered the combo appetizer and cheese sticks becuase it was a bunch of us. The food was pretty good and we well having fun until we pulled RAW bacon out of the pizza sauce that they call marinara sauce.
Needless to say we left and dont plan on going back again ever

I've never had bad service but I did have to wait at the Florence O'Charleys as well as Tupelo's on several occassions for a refill on my drink. One time we were seated and waited for several minutes before anyone came over and gave us menus and asked what we wanted to drink. Too bad--the food is usually great but the service sucks.
I have never ate there. I am a Texas Roadhouse girl. I just seen all the homemade signs, have never seen that done before. somebody went to the extreme to get the word out about something. Just wished they would have made the signs bigger..lol

Needed to fire that cook, thats just uncalled for suppose to cut it in the middle to make sure its done. any idiot knows that I thought. well I have never ate there and now I sure am not.

I was a waitress for many years and I served people the way I want to be served keep my drink filled and I am happy and be clean of course....lol.. I have this bad habit of looking at how they are dressed and groomed if the shoes are nice and clean and cloths well pressed they are going to be a good waitress or waiter. But there again I am old school and these young kids say..lol
I have often wondered how they stay open. Compared to other restaurants, they never seem to have a good business. I have only eaten there two times, and felt as though it was overpriced for both the service and the food quality.

someone in my party always gets a hair in something. my ex got a hair in 3 chicken tender salads on the same trip. I will never step foot back in there again!
I've not had a bad experience there. I stick to the standards though: chipotle tenders, a salad, and some shrimp dip. I also like the older gentleman who seats lunch patrons. He seems genuine.
I had a friend that used to work at that particulr O'Charley's...She was a good waitress, as nice as can be, and never mentioned any glaring problems that they had...
I don't eat there, but it's not because I've ever had bad service there, I just don't think their steak is as good as Outback, Big Mike's, or Jonathan's.

What is the boycott about? The sounds say something about racial discrimnation????
Also...have you seen the flyers that are out all over the city? My friend got one off of her car at the mall...sounds like O'Charley's is having some major problems down there, I heard that they got a white general manager and fired the black one...does anyone know what is going on there?
Well, of course. It has to be racial discrimination. Couldn't have anything to do with hair in the food or poor service.
