Why the Hate?

It’s easily explained: Bro Bill is as has been stated a ‘fundamentalist’.

There is nothing odd about that. It’s not just Catholics with which he has problems.

He doesn’t like my brand [COC] and I don’t like his but I don’t care if he likes the COC or not.

Fundamentalist are what used to be referred to as ‘hard shelled’ they have a collection of tidbits they use to argue but are simply invented by them selves.

I am aware that he is on a mission against Catholics but I don’t see it as unusual.

Like I have stated many times: if your brand of religion does not allow for everyone else going to hell; what’s it’s purpose? If you think you are right everyone else that does not agree with your position must be wrong. Otherwise hush. He is convinced he is right. Bro. Bill, you are going to hell cause you are not COC. My dogma can beat up your dogma.

Just because someone disagrees does not mean they hate. From what I've seen Bill always states his reasons for disagreeing. I disagree with many people about various subjects as they do me. That doesn't mean I hate them nor do I see their disagreement with me as hatred.

Buffalo, you sound as if you hate anyone that is not COC and are overjoyed that they will all be "going to hell". Now that's what I call true love for mankind.

Bill's dislike of the Catholic church is because he 'belonged' to one for 20 years, yet never got it. Then he is miraculous opened up to being a fundy by Chuck Smith.

Bill's constant attacks on their beliefs and their traditions is hate.

If you follow his posts enough you will find he has called them a cult and said the Last Rites by a priest will send a person to Hell.

You must not read his long diatribes very much. He also believe that churches should not come together as a unity. He wants to keep the Christian religion fractured so he and his fundy friends will have heaven to themselves.

SR.........You don't know billie that well, he truly hates. Buffalo is COC and he
believes the COC is right, but he doesn't hate everybody. Hes a likeable bovine
and nobody cares.

Case in point: My catholic grandmothers funeral, someone said "she was just a
walking saint". (people will say that) Her son, my uncle, said Yes she was.
His COC wife said "Yes she was, too bad shes going to hell"

Maybe not the best time to say that, but everybody loves her anyway, shes family.
I look past her like I do Buffalo. Their good people with own beliefs. Not hate.

Personally, I don't see it as much as "hate" as I do as JEALOUSY. Because he doesn't comprehend it, and lacks the spiritual depth to appreciate the reverence and sacredness of the Holy Catholic Church.

I think it good that people believe in something greater than themselves. But i dissagree with them saying that people who don't go along with their beliefs are going to hell. I have learned that only God will make that determination.

I'll never believe he was a Catholic for 20 yrs. Unless, born Catholic and
never went to church for 20 yrs.

I think he says that to sound more convincing, and/or not telling something else.
