Does anyone know why Wilson Dam has been closed for so long, and when it will be opened back up again?

Ams, I don't really know and maybe after 3 hours, maybe tomorrow someone, somewhere will have a real answer for you.
But for now, were I to guess based on how this forum trends....
The reason why the dam has been closed for so long is Bush's fault [somehow]
and when it will reopen depends on two more years of Hope & Change if you can hang in there.
My advice is find another route [Libertarian] or forget about it [Independent]
News.
Look at the board of directors. They are the ones who want to close it for good. That's part of their security plan.
They are installing some new water intake lines that cross under the road. If it goes as scheduled, the road should be open no later than Monday(possibly later today).
I have been noticing on the TVA page on facebook they have been giving notifications when other dam bridges are to be closed. I wonder why they don't do the same for Wilson dam?
I was over at the landing on the south side week before last and they were running some lines or pipes under the road over there. Like OldMan said. I don't think we can blame this on either Bush nor Obama and from the looks of it they will be opening the road back up soon.
I don't see the relationship of Tea Party/FEMA camps...
Thank you OldMan, for the ONLY legitimate answer.
To everyone else......Geesh people, get a life!
It opened yesterday.
