ROSWELL, Ga. -- A woman in a metro Atlanta hospital is being tested for the possibility of botulism after going to the emergency room.

The woman said she had eaten one of the products recalled by Castleberry's. She awoke Saturday feeling ill.

North Fulton Regional Medical Center spokesman Charles Hendricks said today 20-year-old Anansar Ituen complained of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Her mother said she had eaten Castleberry's Onion Hot Dog Chili Sauce.

Hendricks said there is no confirmation yet whether the woman has contracted the disease.

Canned Meat Recall Expanded; Includes Dog Food

POSTED: 5:34 am EDT July 23, 2007
UPDATED: 5:54 am EDT July 24, 2007

ATLANTA -- Castleberry's Food Co. has recalled more than 80 brands of chili sauce, hash and other canned meat products since the Food and Drug Administration released a warning about the suspected source of a botulism outbreak.

Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin is alerting Georgians that last week's recall of canned meat products has been expanded and now includes some dog foods.

The recall doesn't only include products that contain the Castleberry label, but also other products that Castleberry manufactures for places like Kroger and Steak 'N Shake.

Exposure to botulinum toxin can be fatal, and two people in Texas and two people in Indiana remain seriously ill and hospitalized with botulism poisoning associated with eating Castleberry's Hot Dog Chili Sauce.

While the previous recall and the known illnesses are linked to production dates of April 30 to May 22, 2007, the firm has extended the recall to include all products listed irrespective of "best by" date. The firm is cooperating with FDA in the recall of these products and has ceased processing and distribution.

In addition, Castleberry is recalling other products containing meat, which are regulated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. USDA is also warning the public not to eat certain brands of Castleberry products containing meat.

The initial 10 products recalled were: --Castleberry's Hot Dog Chili Sauce, 10 oz. cans
--Austex Hot Dog Chili Sauce, 10 oz. cans
--Kroger Hot Dog Chili Sauce, 10 oz. cans
--Morton House Corned Beef Hash, 15 oz. cans
