UC you receive today's award for discernment, which is ,BTW, one of the positive attributes mentionsed in the NT. I have another question related to the abortion issue. If we require these children too be born, regardless of the reason, are we not duty bound to help feed, clothe, and give medical care to them. The absolute is dead is dead. Will God forgive their neglect by those who insist upon their birth? Is it all right to kill slowly- just not instantly? I am not in favor of abortion. I have asked several ministrs to comment on slow death versus fast death. I would like an opinion . This question is probably for the ultra conservative.

Hi Momma,

Abortion is wrong. Period. So, what should be done with the unwanted children? There are multiple aspects to this question. First, let's look at the couple having the child -- no baby is made by the woman alone. Are they single and is this the first unwanted baby born from this relationship? Or, is this the fifth or sixth baby from this relationship -- because the couple is too lazy, or too dumb, to use reliable birth control?

If the latter is the case, it is an indication that this couple is just irresponsible. One of them needs to get something fixed to prevent future babies.

But, let's look at the other cases: a baby is born into a family too impoverished to care for the child, what should be done?

Or, a baby is born as the result of a young underage girl being sexually active at too early an age -- or the baby is because of rape or incest. Either way, the mother is not capable, emotionally or otherwise, of caring for the child.

What should be done?

Well, one thing we can do. Stop putting millions of dollars of federal funds into organizations such as Planned Parenthood and other Pro-Abortion organizations. Instead, take those funds and fund organizations which will help get these babies adopted into good families.

Stop funding Abortion Companies -- Start funding Life organizations. With the funds given to Planned Parenthood and other Pro-Abortion organizations diverted into organizations which support and help make adoptions go more smoothly -- many lives can be saved. And, we never know which one of those babies saved might be the next Einstein, the next Reagan, the next Palin.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

With or without abortion, we are duty bound to care for orphans.

James 1:27 - "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

Also, the survival instinct is strong, very strong, in humans. The chances that a person would rather be killed that allowed to live at any age is almost nonexistent.

Hi Momma,

That was the point I made in my previous post. Have the federal government quit funding abortion clinics, i.e., Planned Parenthood -- and use that money to fund Adoption organizations.

That way, lives are saved -- and babies can be put into loving, responsible homes.

No Bible verses; no sermons -- just redirect the funds toward pro-life instead of to pro-abortion.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
Mr. Bill, I am not in favor of using abortion as a lazy birth control method, but Planned Parenthood is more than abortion aides. I really believe if Adoption centers were built next to Clinic that perform abortions, we would have a dramatic drop in the abortion rate.

Hi LMM,

You say, "Mr. Bill, I am not in favor of using abortion as a lazy birth control method, but Planned Parenthood is more than abortion aides. I really believe if Adoption centers were built next to Clinic that perform abortions, we would have a dramatic drop in the abortion rate."

Yet when I Googled "largest abortion provider" -- I found about 10,000 responses. The ones below are from the first page, which list the most obvious hits on the search. Every single hit listed Planned Parenthood. They may fly other flags -- but, their main mast flies the Abortion Flag.

Planned Parenthood: Abortion Provider
Link

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Although Planned Parenthood promotes itself as a "pro-choice" provider for pregnant women, the facts show the truth: abortion is Planned Parenthood's real choice.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Planned Parenthood, with 164 affiliates operating 915 clinics, is the largest abortion provider in the United States. Although not all clinics perform abortions, all refer and counsel for them.

Planned Parenthood performed 134,277 abortions in 1993. In contrast, a mere 9,943 women received prenatal care and Planned Parenthood's 1994 Service Report does not even mention adoption.

Between January 1993 and June 1994, PPFA's revenue totaled $693.7 million. Annualized this equals $462.5 million per year, with $158.8 million generated by government contracts and grants. This was a sharp increase over PPFA's 1992 income of $446 million, $145 million of which came from government sources.

Government sources accounted for 34 percent of Planned Parenthood's total revenue in 1993.

Summary and Analysis of Planned Parenthood’s Operations in the U.S.
Link

While STOPP does not have accurate numbers for Planned Parenthood abortions for the early years, STOPP does have the numbers of abortions PPFA reported dating back to 1977. Since that time, PPFA has reported doing 3,246,934 abortions up to and including 2002.

Based upon an estimated average cost of $400 per abortion, STOPP estimates that PPFA had a total income of $90,950,000 from abortion procedures in 2002.

3) Planned Parenthood Financial Information

For its 2002-2003 fiscal year, PPFA reported a total income of $766.6 million, which is an increase of 10.7 % over the previous year. Clinic income of $288.2 million accounted for 36% of the total income, while government grants and contracts ($254.4 million) accounted for 33%, and private contributions ($228.1 million) accounted for 30%. PPFA listed end of the year net assets of $688.0 million. Since 1987, PPFA has reported a total of $8,350,300,000 of income with $2,947,000,000 coming from clinic income (36%), $2,709,300,000 coming from government grants and contracts (32%), and 2,244,500,000 coming from private contributions (27%).

The Nation’s Largest Abortion Business Endorses Obama -- 7-9-08
Link

Planned Parenthood Action Fund this week endorsed Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in his presidential bid — an apparent payback for his pledged support of abortion.

View the video.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Can you guess why the nation's largest abortion provider endorsed Barack Obama? Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that NARAL (the pro-abortion watchdog organization) gives him a 100% rating -- meaning that Obama voted FOR every single abortion issue to come before him. And, that includes the bill to NOT ALLOW parental notification BEFORE their teenage daughter is taken by school officials to have an abortion.

By the way, NARAL gave John McCain a 0% rating -- meaning he voted AGAINST every abortion issue which came before him.

This, LMM, is why I would like to see ALL Federal Funding to Planned Parenthood stopped -- and why I ask everyone to vote AGAINST OBAMA -- and I encourage everyone to vote FOR the McCain/Palin ticket.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
