Scientists using sophisticated analyzers have reassembled DNA from fossilized bone fragments believed to belong to early human ancestors.

It is so advanced in its ability that researchers may be able to tell what color of hair and skin they had.

Writing in the journals 'Nature' and 'Science' David M. Lambert and Craig D. Millar remarked that the findings "are perhaps the most significant contributions published in this field since the discovery of Neanderthals 150 years ago."

Maybe there's something to that Geico advertising thing.
