THAT photo might be of someone named Maynard Jackson, but it is not the Maynard Jackson who was Mayor of Atlanta and after whom Hartsfield-Jackson  Atlanta International Airport is named. A little education for you, Best:  when you google up a name, you often will receive information, including images, of more than one person with that name.  "Maynard Jackson" is not a common name, but neither is it a rare name, so that an intelligent searcher should not assume that the entirety of the material retrieved relates only to the person of one's interest.

It is not surprising, though, that operating in ignorance of what I have now educated you on, you would pick what you considered the weirdest and least flattering of the numerous images that your search yielded and make some irrelevant smart-alec remark about it.

By "in the other images" you obviously meant other images of Jackson and now you are trying to weasel out of your error.

Whatever you lame brain. If you can't tell what I meant, others with good sense can. I made it clear I found the other picture (his weird looking dad) AFTER I found HIS pic. For some reason you think pretending you don't get it somehow reflects badly on me. It doesn't. It just shows once more what a silly, petty little moron you are, and what lengths you will go to when trying to make people think you're right, or that you "meant to do that". To help you, the first one is Maynard "Fat Albert" Jackson, and the second, obviously older picture of the weird looking fellow is supposed to be his father. The image of his father I found AFTER I found his. I should be ashamed about picking on you, you're so lame, but I do so love pointing out your unintended silliness. As for picking an "unflattering" picture of him, if I had wanted to do that I could have picked plenty of others of him. There weren't any really flattering, he wasn't much of a looker.

Old Maynard's weight yo-yoed yearly.  He started the large rolling garbage cans we all use now.  Many referred to them as Mobile Maynards.

Maynard fired a white police chief and hired a crony, Reginald Eaves, as new chief of police.  Eaves once got caught with about 25 new police radios in his personal car.

All in all, my take is that despite some mis-steps and cronyism (and ALL southern mayors practice cronyism) Jackson was a pretty competent and effective mayor.

At least, unlike yours, my words are the truth.

If any of you speculators had taken a minute to do a web search on Maynard Jackson,Sr., you would have found that this "weird" suspect undertaker-hair stylist-funeral director you have been babbling about was a respected person of distinction and accomplishment. Learn about him here instead of in your negative imaginations:

Did you take time to do a search before you started "finger yapping" about it being an unflattering picture of the younger Jackson? What about that? More pathetic hypocrisy from beternnun. I couldn't care less about doing a search on him. He's ancient history.

Wow, he had a lot of accomplishments for a homely fella.  I'm pretty homely myself, maybe there is still hope for me.

"In 1952 Jackson endured a catastrophic auto accident in which his car collided with the motorcycle of an Atlanta policeman."

Ya reckon the policeman endured?

You are totally off the mark.

I never said or implied that the picture was "an unflattering picture of the younger Jackson."

In my very first comment on this topic I said this:

"THAT photo might be of someone named Maynard Jackson, but it is not the Maynard Jackson who was Mayor of Atlanta and after whom Hartsfield-Jackson  Atlanta International Airport is named."

Nothing in my other comments in any way justifies your misguided, erroneous, blithering and nonsensical ASSertion about what you falsely claim I have said.

You are not thinking logically, Best; you have too many short-outs in your brain circuitry.

Oh sthu beternnun. You had no idea who the man was, called the picture "unflattering", and then tried to run in and chastise others for having fun with it. I picked nothing because it was unflattering, I knew it was his father. You sure didn't do a search before you made your remark. My thinking is fine beternnun, and clearly superior to yours. So tell me Miss Grundy, just who were you saying was in the most "unflattering" picture I picked?

==================================

you would pick what you considered the weirdest and least flattering of the numerous images

Your initial comment was this: "I don't know about your image, but I didn't know who maynard Jackson was, so I googled him, found his pic and in the other images found this "WTH is it" pic. I may how (sic) found the alien that visited hilliary.

________

Only later in the discussion did you identify the pic as Jackson's father. And if there are any doubts about your considering the pic as "unflattering," they are easily resolved by simply noting your own description": darn weird looking" and "looking like the alien that visited hilliary."
