I really wish you would title your posts appropriately so that I am not compelled to click on such a silly post.

What the heck does "YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" have to do with rain and why is it in the "news" section?

Etiquette, folks. Etiquette.
My son and i were headed to Florence and was in the middle of O'neal bridge when it hit so we just kept going and circled around to Patton bridge. It was torrential all the way to Avalon, then it just stopped and streets over here were just barely damp.
It hit here about 5 minutes later.
When it rains that heavy i always say a prayer for whomever is living in my old house in Killen. Having 3 feet of water inside your house is a sure sign that it has rained just a tad too much
Dang Frog...3 feet? Is that why you are somewhat amphibious? Hmmm...or was it that you were searching for a Prince, I forget. Anyway, we ran into some rain but nothing to prepare us for seeing some roads blocked off and Lake Minor in our front yard that I spoke of before. I felt bad when we left because our flowers were hanging their heads "pouting" for a drink and when we got back they were hanging their heads from an apparent "beat down".

Too much of a good thing, right?

Yep, it was 3 feet. The great flood of May '98.Had to have every floor replaced and every wall repainted.
But i learned a few things at that time. Like... If you have two creeks on your property and it's raining heavily and your dog starts pawing at the floor and growling and barking? Get ready to start wading.
And keeping your candles in the bottom of the closet for easy access in case of another power outage is a bad idea. If a flood hits you have soggy candles, right?
It's much better to store them in the top of the barn so when a tornado (wind shear, whatever) comes along a month later and blows a huge tree over on the barn and cuts it literally in half the candles can be smushed into itty-bitty bits!.....lol.

(i've given up on the whole prince thing. now i'm looking for a nice, pleasant peasant.)
Well, I've not had as much problem with flooding as with limbs down. I gave up on a dry basement soon after purchasing my house.

As for a prince, I met mine when I least expected it and I was very reluctant to even meet him (because he was a prince and I was a frogette/peasant for lack of a better word)...so don't give up. But, we are very happy...flooded yard and all!
I never realized how hard it is to click to another post. Every time I click on a goofy illegal alien thing I don't feel I have to sit and read it for days and days I just click. My lord how lazy is it to worry that you've clicked on a silly post? So click again.

Silly is as silly does. Silly is in the eye of the beholder. All that.

NO offense intended toward anyone.

It is not a matter of laziness, it's a matter of using time wisely.
