Was there anyone else who felt a little slighted by the You Said It in the paper today from the "poor" people from Wisconsin who were led to believe that Alabama was a retirement heaven, only to find out we paid taxes on our food here? (I guess they have not discovered the food stamps yet, maybe we should let them in on that little secret as well).
The real ironic part of the whole diatribe by this person that strikes me the wrong way, is how they berate the state, talk about how bad their Medicaid coverage is, and then in another paragraph complains that they can't get DSL service for their "computers".
Well cover me with butter and throw me in the oven, but I wonder how many out there who actually would like to have a computer, and wouldn't mind having any kind of connection, and yet cannot even get Medicaid or any help with their medical services? nor any of that free dental care they are asking for?
You know if it is so darned good where you came from, why not go back? If this is the type of people we are getting, we should ask ourselves "can we not do btter"?
Sorry, but that is just my little rant in response to your little rant....
