I found a web site with all the crazy things she has said over the last few years and it cracks me up. The funniest part is that she can be so sincere about it. I'm from Austin, Texas and the idiots on our city council voted to boycott Arizona. A poll was run and 90% voted against the boycott. Hopefully we can vote these idiots out. Just wait till the University of Texas has to play a bowl game in Arizona. The boycott will be worthless. Crazy politics!!!!! Texas should pass the same law as Arizona!!!!!!

She also has a college degree, but what is interesting is that she did it by collecting credits at 4 different colleges and universities. At her first alma mater,the University of Hawaii, she was not comfortable with the ethnic constituency:

Being older, I've seen the Democrats use this tactic again and again. Their campaign against Eisenhower intimated that he was either stupid or an elderly, out of touch grandfather. Imagine, a five star general, supreme commander of the allied invasion force, an illiterate ignorant person.
As for truly foolish statement, I only have to read those by the man who is Vice President. He saved Quayle from a reputation for making the dumbest statements.

If you actually read about Palin's college education, you would know she was from a rather poor family. The main reasons she changed colleges was because of scholarships and grants. She also took semesters off to earn money, as well.
As for being uncomfortable among Hawaiians, it well know amongst those familiar with the islands that many caucasians and blacks complain of being discriminated against there. Ironic, perhaps, but not unusual. I suggest you ask military who were posted to the islands with their families for conformation. While there are many asians, mostly Koreans and Japanese, in Hawaii, the original settlers were polynesian.

I lived in Austin several years ago and I always thought that it was the greatest place I ever lived. It was clean, neat and the people were very nice. WHAT HAPPENED? It is now a left leaning, liberal rathole. Hope you like it. Each time I drive through I am glad I moved.

Just read the book "Turning Point" where even her handlers as much as said so. She didn't know anything about WW1, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and could not be convinced that Saddam Hussein did not direct the attack against us on 9/11. To this day she cannot understand why there are two Korea's . Can you imagine if by some chance that level of ignorance should be put in the White house ? It would be a disaster for our country.
In addition , she is an out and out liar, as demonstrated on her take on the health care bill , ie: "Death Panels", and she just seems to have the most irritating, grating screech when she makes speeches.
If you listen to her, she often makes fun of intelligence as if being dumb as a sack of rocks is preferable. (Actually, there seems to be a lot of people in the anti-intellectual "movement" because of the applause she gets talking about it.
She , or her speech writer, does seem to have the ability to boil all her ignorance down into good one-liner talking points, applause lines (from the nuts who listen to her), and bumper-sticker slogans. You gotta give her that !

Her handlers tried to make Palin look bad so as to make themselves look better. They wish to run campaigns in the future. To state that the daughter of a teacher had no knowledge of WWI, WWII or the Korean War is ludicrous.
As to the death panels, she was referring to the equivalent of the UK NICE panels. NICE panels do make life vs. death decisions for such areas as refusing help to smokers and the obese.
